Dude, you say Combine have no counter-synth infantry.
Have you ever used Elites' AR2 energy ball ability to counter hunters and striders?
That's the Combine anti-synth infantry weapon, not the shotgun.
That and sniper rifle (finishes hunter in 2 shots).

Maybe you were playing in Sandbox mode? That could happen if one of you left a spawning menu open and accidentally spawned a number of red 'common enemies' on the map just with a spacebar.

They are not hard, because they cannot upgrade weapons of units or use manhacks/grenades)
Mountable turrets work very well against CPUs.

My latest list:

1)HQ buildings of CPU players show only particle effects and no destruction models when exploding.

2)Floor turret fire sector drawn when spawning is still buggy.

I suppose death sounds have not been scripted for use yet, and in great battles where someone dies each second they may be annoying, imho.

I'd say death sounds should be played for any units except infantry. Other units are recruited more rarely and their death sounds won't spam.

Two more bugs:

1) Hopper mines don't explode as enemies approach them.

2) Starting camera zoomed into HQ (rare but yet occurring)
