I've never really worked on outside environments. If your strongest skill is in indoor environments you can always make an (mostly) indoor map. They are working on balancing the canisters and vortigaunts. Other then that, I think the crossbow should stay with the veterans. A saboteur shouldn't really be armed with a strong weapon + invisibility + explosives. And also, I do think they plan on adding combine vehicles in the future.

We would need to see examples of larger outdoor environments. But we don't really "hire" level designers, we just add good custom maps into the mod.
