Two Qs regarding it:
1) What is the release's dev revision number?
2) Will the update be available at Desura that still works for some people?
Currently there's no update, that's why I'm asking.

1) Release Rev is 1910
2) I did upload a new version to Desura, but it hasn't been authorized yet. Then again, I think we should remove the mod from Desura, because they don't bother fixing it.

I suppose it's time to make another 7-zipped dev build, to make the checkout/update faster for new testers.

It's necro, but still: tried to launch developer build as Alien Swarm mod, but it just closes on startup. All changes listed in first post were made. May be there are additional steps to do?

It's our internal development build(which is open to public). We can use this to test all the new stuff before releasing it as a patch. I don't know if it's still open to the public because we now use a combination of the SVN and steam build.

(basicly we add content/changes, test the stuff to see if it works, if it does, it's in the next patch.)

It explains, why it doesn't work for me - SVN part still available for everyone, but steam part available only for testers.
